When we started this project, this is what the room looked like.
Chris demolished the room
and framed up a new wall to hide the plumbing stack in the corner.
We hired an electrician to do the rough wiring,
then Chris installed a sub-floor.
We called in a plumber to do the rough plumbing.
The wallboard was installed,
then taped and mudded.
Finally the fun began! Chris hung the beadboard,
installed crown molding,
and a marble tile floor...
Ready to see what it looks like now??? Here's the "before" one last time...
and here are the "afters"...

We have to say, it was worth the wait!

Hello Polkadots and puppies & LifeBegins@Thirty. Thanks for your sweet comments. The chandelier is from CSN stores: http://www.csnstores.com/Crystorama-9225-OS-SS-CRT3577.html
We got the sconces from Restoration Hardware and unfortunately they have since sold out :(
This is amazing. Normally I don't get excited about wallpaper but this is incredible! Great work!!
Stunning! I have been thinking about redoing the powder room and this is exactly the route I want to take. The mirror is fabulous - is it antique or can I buy it somewhere?
Hi Irina, Thanks for your comment!
I found the mirror at an antique store (it was gold at the time) and spray painted it black.
WOW!! I LOVE the chandelier! LOVE IT! You guys did a fantastic job - thanks for the inspiration!
Your bathroom is SO stunning. I would probably go in and never come out. Ha! :) Do you mind me asking how much wallpaper (how many rolls) you needed to do the top half of the bathroom?
I just found your blog from WOW us Wednesdays at SSS and it sure does wow. I've been looking at your projects and you have done amazing work. Quite stunning. I'm especially impressed with the powder room and your vision. I'm never able to pull something together on my own like that. I absolutely love it. I've been changing my rooms, many of which were red, to softer blues/grays/silvers. Do you remember what kind of wallpaper you used in the bath. I read the comments and couldn't see where you had identified it. If I missed it, I'm sorry. I'm now a new follower and can't wait to see what else you have in store.
I would love to feature your bathroom - please email me at eclecticallyvintage@gmail.com. Thanks!
Kelly
Gorgeous! Love that paper!
