I Want White Walls

I don't know about you but whenever I see a house with a dark painted exterior I assume the interior is just as dark. Being someone who lives in a dark gray house, I plan to go out of my way to ensure that doesn't end up being the case here.
So it is no surprise then that 99% of the inspiration pictures I've collected have white
walls.

Notice how many of these rooms also have pretty architectural molding. It really makes white walls more interesting, no? Chris if you are reading this, better get your protractor ready 'cause mama wants some fancy molding.

We just moved into our new house and I have already painted almost everything Benjamin Moore's White Down, probably my all time favorite creamy white. I love how white always opens up a space and lets the natural light bounce around!

Moldings just make a room! I have been attracted to white walls lately too. Of course all mine are darker colors so I have a lot of work ahead of me...

I do love these, too. I figure if I wait long enough, this trend will be over and I won't have to repaint my whole house white. Right now Im painting trim from ivory to white...

The white rooms you chose are lovely and they all have interesting architecture or a bit of color in the accents or furniture.

VERY unlike Bethenny Frankel's home!

I'm STILL bummed!

I want them, too. I know the world is loving dark rooms, but there is something really fresh about white.

it's funny that sometimes I don't even consider white as an option, I am always thinking of walls as needing a color...I think because white boring walls remind me of apartment living. Which these inspiration images are anything but!
